or why Back to Basics isn't always a winner

(or indeed, perhaps, a foreshadowing of what happens when CERN ends the world)
(joe, please: what you told me about recording the essential sound of the room?)

a man is sitting in a room. he reads a monologue into a voice recorder and then plays it back and records the playback in another recoder, he then plays the playback back to the first recorder and records it..and so on...until what he is left with is no longer a comprehensible monologue but the resonances of the room itself. The multiple recordings and re-recordings erradicate the timbre of his voice as it dissaptes into the room's accoustic. Thus 'I am sitting in a room' is essentially a recording of room itself.
What we have here is an experi-modern post-mentalist expression of the true essence of the picture which appears to show that the bridge itself is truly insignificant and has been consumed by the far greater elements of the sky and the water.. a telling sign to all those that think humankind can triumph over nature.
